New
York was my home base where I had a hit record of "Carolina in the
Morning." Disc jockeys loved my records and played them alot without
"payola." After making guest appearances on many TV shows, I hosted and
produced, along with my partner Judy, "Showtime in the Catskills, with
top national entertainers. I also co-produced the #1 hit record of
"Blue Moon" by the Marcels in 1961. Judy and I published Panorama Magazine, about entertainment in the Catskills. My column, "The Winch Line," was syndicated throughout the United States.
We
published the "In & Around" travel brochures in San Diego, Baja
California, Los Angeles, Nashville and Tennessee. The website
InAndAround.com, an online travel guide, attracts thousands of unique
visitors. I perform in a trio, with two beautiful singers, Carole Shaw
and Lisa Webb, as "Moonlight & Memories."
Judy & I now produce The Danny Winchell Show, on
Fridays at 2:05 P.M. on WAMB (AM 1200 Nashville). The show is packed
with entertainment and information for people of all ages. It can
